Hurricane Florence REPAIR AFFAIR 3 days; 3 counties 10 projects No money or tools needed. Join your fellow contractors to repair homes damaged by the Hurricane. Sign up here for more information. Individuals and teams are needed for various construction projects for Hurricane Survivors some of who have been living in unsanitary and unsafe conditions. Handyman or construction experience are particularly helpful, but not critical so bring your friends! These projects will have shifts available available Thursday - Saturday, so you will be able to sign up for one day or all three. Projects are managed by our Coalition Construction partners such as Baptist on Mission, Habitat for Humanity, WARM and UMCOR. We just want the projects done safely and to completion. If groups are over 10 they will possibly be broken up into smaller teams for efficiency. For COVID 19 prevention and strict safety standards are being maintained inside and out. More information and training will be provided after sign up that you are interested. Projects will be available in Wilmington as well as the surrounding Brunswick and Pender Counties. PLEASE NOTE: indicate your company name as well as the skills you would like to offer such as handyman, electrician, drywall, ... and days you are willing to give your time in the questions/comments box.
